Refund policy

🛡️ Synapse Core Returns and Refunds Policy

1. Policy Scope and UK Jurisdiction

This Returns and Refunds Policy apply to consumer purchases made under Synapse Core’s Terms and Conditions of Sale and is governed by UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, where applicable.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. The Right to Cancel (Unwanted/Change of Mind Returns)

You have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your contract within 14 days in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

The 14-day cancellation period starts on the day after you receive your goods. Where goods are delivered in multiple consignments, the period starts on the day after the final delivery.

For subscriptions or regular deliveries, the right to cancel for change of mind applies only after the first delivery.

A. Returns Eligibility (Food Supplements)

You may inspect food supplement products as you would in a shop. However, for health protection and hygiene reasons, once a product has been unsealed after delivery, you lose your right to cancel because of a change of mind.

If the security seal has been broken or the product shows signs of tampering, we cannot accept a return or issue a refund for change of mind.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

B. Initiating the Return & Postage Cost

To cancel your order, you must inform us clearly (for example by email or via the cancellation method set out on our website) within 14 days of delivery.

After cancelling, you must return the goods to us within 14 days. Unless we have agreed otherwise, return postage costs are your responsibility.

Our contact details and returns address are set out in our Terms and Conditions of Sale and on our website.

C. Refunds

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Refunds are made using the original payment method. In practice, refunds are usually processed within approximately 10 business days.

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (Statutory Rights)

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply, including your short-term right to reject goods within 30 days and your longer-term rights to repair, replacement, or refund where applicable.

Where goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return costs or provide a pre-paid returns method, in line with your statutory rights.

4. Subscription Order Management and Cancellation

You have full control over your Synapse Core subscription via your online customer portal.

Management: You may pause, skip, or change the frequency of your recurring orders at any time.

Cancellation: To prevent the next order from being processed and shipped, cancellation or any changes must be made at least 72 hours before your next scheduled charge date.

Refunds: Once a recurring order has been processed and shipped, the purchase is subject to the standard 14-day change-of-mind policy (must be returned unopened and sealed).

5. Final Sale Items and Restocking

Restocking Fee: Synapse Core does not charge a restocking fee for returns.

Final Sale Items: Items marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for returns or refunds, unless they arrive damaged or faulty, in which case your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act remain protected.
